UKDS started as a search engine optimisation company in 1998. The MD, Dr D. Hamilton-Wallis, decided to use the data collected from his research while studying for his PhD in Mathematics and Computing to develop computer algorithms that would improve the positioning of websites in Internet search engines.
Increasingly, businesses requested that UKDS build their websites, so the company diversified into website design. As a consequence of the Internet boom, during the late 90s, demand for Internet-related solutions grew considerably – leading UKDS to diversify further into website applications and software development. To fulfil this demand, while still maintaining the company’s philosophy of innovative creativity, UKDS set out to employ talented individuals of the highest calibre working in these fields.
With the company’s growing experience of helping Internet start-up companies market themselves, UKDS designed a complete package for developing, branding and marketing all kinds of businesses, regardless of size or business sector. UKDS now boasts an exceptional array of expertise and experience in the whole spectrum of business development and marketing – all with an emphasis for new ideas and ‘Innovation’.
